This practical tank is specifically designed to service modern AC, heat pumps, and dehumidifiers, and can be used with any standard hose with core depressor.
Proprietary patented “polymer-free” leak stop ensures that “seasonal leakage” (up to 300 microns) is stopped. If the leak is too large to fix, the UV dye makes it easy to find.
Refrigerant R22, also known as HCFC-22, is the most common refrigerant in residential and commercial air conditioning and some very large centrifugal chillers for air conditioning and industrial process cooling. It has also been installed more in refrigeration since the phase-out of CFCs, both as a pure refrigerant and in mixtures.
